Get Hydrated!!!

It's hot and we must be vigilant in our heat acclimation.

According to the MHSAA
Athletes must begin practices and training activities adequately hydrated.
Rationale: While proper hydration alone will not necessarily prevent exertional heat illness, it will decrease risk.

Drink early and often.  I suggest carrying a water bottle at all times.  Get in the habit of keeping your water bottle next to your bed.  Chug some water before you even get out of bed in the morning.  Get & Stay Hydrated.

What you do today, impacts tomorrow's run!

Bring your full water bottle to conditioning.  Sports drinks are ok after a run, workout, or race, but really you need high quality H20.
