SEC Championship

  • Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!
    • The Dave Bork Classic was a success.
      • Thanks to all MHSXC athletes, parents, families and friends who helped with the course, meet management, concessions, t-shirts and cheering!!!
  • Tuesday, October 19th, the top 7 boys and girls will travel to Hudson Mills Metro Park to run the league meet course.
    • We plan to return to MHS by 6:00pm. 
    • Everyone else will meet Coach Mydloski at Munson at 2:45. 
  • Thursday's race schedule involves an early release from school.
    • Please be sure to make arrangements for missed schoolwork prior Thursday.

    • Students will be dismissed follwing "D" Lunch (3rd hour)
    • The bus will leave at noon.

10-6-10 - SMCC & Portage

SMCC

Same course as the Energy Run.  A fun and competitive meet.  If you have a choice in spikes, please choose a xc specific spike for this meet. 

Top 7 will be at the Portage Invitational. 
Please Meet Coach Mydloski behind the Phys Ed. Building at Monroe County Community College.  Varsity Girls meet Coach Mydloski @ 7:45am.  All others report by 8:45am.

9:30am   Girl’s Varsity Race - Jenna, Bork, Davison, Russell, Burman, Vensel, Brady

Portage -

By far and away the most competitive meet we attend during the regular season.  Although the course includes in a few decent hills, it's F A S T...

We've produced 2 individual champions.  Cole Sanseverino won in 2005 and Justin Heck in 2007.  Last year, Austin Whitlelaw finished runner up.

-Individual medals will be awarded to the first thirty (30) places in each varsity race. The top three will be large Olympic style.

Athletes may leave immediately following their race on.  Showers will be available. 

We will leave from MHS following the conclusion of the Homecoming Game Halftime presentation. 




AWARDS
- Awards will take place 45 minutes after race start -  Girls @3:15pm -- Boys @ 2:15pm
-Team trophies will be awarded to the first three (3) teams in each varsity race.

10-1-10 - Centerline

Flat and fast course.  This will be our first goal race of the season and excellent opportunity to set huge personal bests.  Shorter spikes are appropriate.  Those with the option may choose their track spikes over cross country spikes. 

Organized carpool.  WE NEED DRIVERS!!! 

Please arrive to MHS by 7:15 am

the K-6 race.

PARKING

-School buses will not be charged to enter the park.
-For all other cars there will be a $6.00 charge to enter the park.
